§ 46-32. Insertions, deletions, changes and applicability of International Fire Code.

  • The following sections and subsections of the 2012 International Fire Code are hereby revised, established, deleted or superseded:

    (a)

    All recommended amendments to the 2012 International Fire Code promulgated by the North Central Texas Council of Governments with the exception of Option A to Section 903.2.11, 903.2.11.3, 903.2.11.7, 903.2.11.8 and Option B to Section 903.2.11, 903.2.11.3, 903.2.11.7, 903.2.11.8, and 903.2.11.9, are specifically adopted and a copy of same shall be maintained in the Office of the City Clerk.

    (b)

    In Section 101.1, insert: the City of Mineral Wells, Texas.

    (c)

    In Section 109.4, insert: misdemeanor for the specified offense and the amount of the fine to be not more than $2,000.00. All references to imprisonment in Section 109.4 are hereby deleted.

    (d)

    In Section 111.4, insert for the amount not to exceed $2,000.00.

    (e)

    Subsections A-101.2.1 through A-101.2.5 of Appendix A of the 2012 International Fire Code are deleted. The qualifications required for membership of the Board of Appeals shall be residency in the City of Mineral Wells and as otherwise approved by the Mineral Wells City Council.

    (f)

    A-101.3 is deleted.

    (g)

    Section 46-101 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Mineral Wells, Texas shall supersede and be in lieu of the provisions contained in Subsection 5601.1.3 of the 2012 International Fire Code.

    (h)

    Section 46-103 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Mineral Wells, Texas shall supersede and be in lieu of the provisions contained in Section 5608 of the 2012 International Fire Code.

    (i)

    All references in the 2012 International Fire Code to the Fire Code Official shall mean and include the duly appointed Fire Chief of the City of Mineral Wells, Texas.
