§ 14-61. Term of permit; renewal.

Each permit for the operation of a sexually oriented business shall be valid for one year and shall expire on the anniversary of the date of its issuance, unless sooner revoked or surrendered. Each permit shall be subject to renewal as of its expiration date by the filing of a renewal application with the chief of police. Renewal applications must be filed at least 30 days prior to the expiration date of the permit that is to be renewed, and if filed less than 30 days prior to the expiration date, the expiration of the preceding permit shall be unaffected.
