§ 4.6. Maintenance bond.

  • Prior to acceptance of a subdivision by the city council, the developer shall submit from himself or his contractors, a good and sufficient maintenance bond or a deposit as described in section 4.5. Said maintenance bond or deposit shall be for a full period of two years from the date of final acceptance of the contractual project and shall be in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price. Said maintenance bond or deposit shall indemnify the city against any repairs which may become necessary to any part of the construction work performed in connection with the subdivision arising from defective workmanship or materials used therein.
